IDS - Incremental Discharge System
Initially developed as a bespoke solution for NHS Lothian,
IDS is a comprehensive Patient Administration System (PAS) that manages the discharge process of hospital admissions,
providing workflow functionality for each department involved in the process.
The ultimate aim of IDS is to improve the collation and distribution of In-patient
information and provide the required discharge information to associated GPs within contracted timescales.
IDS have been utilised by NHS lothian for over 10 years, and has since been extended to provide generic functionality.
